Psalm 2:7-8

Psalm 2:7-8 I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said unto Me, Thou art My Son; this day have I begotten Thee. {8} Ask of Me, and I shall give Thee the heathen for Thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for Thy possession. The Begetting of the Messiah means the world-wide prosperity of The Christmas Conspiracy. The Messiah came at the First Christmas. God is ready to give Him the uttermost parts of the earth. But too many who take His Name are content with a 30-year mortgage and a programmable VCR. The Gospel is the Good News that the Messiah has come and all the earth will be transformed (Galatians 3:8).

The Begetting of the Messiah:
New Testament Proclamations

Matthew 3:17 And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. (Mark 1:11; Luke 3:22) Jesus is the Messiah spoken of in the second Psalm. He came to spread justice and truth over all the world.
Matthew 16:16 And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Messiah, the Son of the living God. Flesh and blood will not reveal this truth to us. God must show it to us.
Matthew 17:5 While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye Him. (Mark 9:7; Luke 9:35) We must listen to the Son, not the "experts" in church and state.
Acts 13:33 God hath fulfilled the same unto us their children, in that he hath raised up Jesus again; as it is also written in the second psalm, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee.
Hebrews 1:2 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by His Son, whom He hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also He made the worlds; {5}For unto which of the angels said Hhe at any time, Thou art My Son, this day have I begotten thee? And again, I will be to Him a Father, and He shall be to Me a Son? The First Christmas occurred in the "last days" of the Old Covenant. Jesus became the Christ, the Messiah, to inherit all things.
Hebrews 5:5-8 So also Christ glorified not Himself to be made an high priest; but He that said unto Him, Thou art My Son, to day have I begotten Tthee. {6} As He saith also in another place, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec. {7} Who in the days of his flesh, when he had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto him that was able to save him from death, and was heard in that he feared; {8} Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered;

Psalm 2:9-12

Psalm 2:9-12 Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; Thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel. {10} Be wise now therefore, O ye kings: be instructed, ye judges of the earth. {11} Serve the LORD with fear, and rejoice with trembling. {12} Kiss the Son, lest He be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in Him. The Jews rejected God's Messiah. The Messiah dashed them to pieces in A.D. 70.

Rev 12:5 She bore a male Child who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron. And her Child was caught up to God and His throne.
Rev 19:15 Now out of His mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it He should strike the nations. And He Himself will rule them with a rod of iron. He Himself treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. The Messiah does not rule from a tiny throne in Jerusalem, with a Wilkinson sword. His Sword is His Word:
Isaiah 11:4 But with righteousness He shall judge the poor, And decide with equity for the meek of the earth; He shall strike the earth with the rod of His mouth, And with the breath of His lips He shall slay the wicked.

Ephesians 6:17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God;

Hebrews 4:12 For the Word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

Revelation 2:26-29 And he that overcometh, and keepeth My works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations: {27} And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of my Father. {28} And I will give him the morning star. {29} He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches. Those of us who are "in Christ" have the privilege (Psalm 149) and the responsibility to vanquish the works of evil and spread the works of mercy over the entire globe.

Psalm 22:27-31

Psalm 22:27-31 All the ends of the world shall remember and turn unto the LORD: and all the kindreds of the nations shall worship before thee. {28} For the kingdom is the LORD'S: and he is the governor among the nations. {29} All they that be fat upon earth shall eat and worship: all they that go down to the dust shall bow before him: and none can keep alive his own soul. {30} A seed shall serve him; it shall be accounted to the Lord for a generation. {31} They shall come, and shall declare his righteousness unto a people that shall be born, that he hath done this.

Psalm 72:8-11,17

Psalm 72:8-11 He shall have dominion also from sea to sea, and from the river unto the ends of the earth. {9} They that dwell in the wilderness shall bow before him; and his enemies shall lick the dust. {10} The kings of Tarshish and of the isles shall bring presents: the kings of Sheba and Seba shall offer gifts. {11} Yea, all kings shall fall down before him: all nations shall serve him.

Psalm 72:17 His name shall endure for ever: his name shall be continued as long as the sun: and men shall be blessed in him: all nations shall call him blessed.

Psalm 86:9

Psalm 86:9 All nations whom thou hast made shall come and worship before thee, O Lord; and shall glorify thy name.

Psalm 87:4-6

Psalm 87:4-6 I will make mention of Rahab and Babylon to them that know me: behold Philistia, and Tyre, with Ethiopia; this man was born there. {5} And of Zion it shall be said, This and that man was born in her: and the highest himself shall establish her. {6} The LORD shall count, when he writeth up the people, that this man was born there. Selah.

Psalm 102:15-22

Psalm 102:15-22 So the heathen shall fear the name of the LORD, and all the kings of the earth thy glory. {16} When the LORD shall build up Zion, he shall appear in his glory. {17} He will regard the prayer of the destitute, and not despise their prayer. {18} This shall be written for the generation to come: and the people which shall be created shall praise the LORD. {19} For he hath looked down from the height of his sanctuary; from heaven did the LORD behold the earth; {20} To hear the groaning of the prisoner; to loose those that are appointed to death; {21} To declare the name of the LORD in Zion, and his praise in Jerusalem; {22} When the people are gathered together, and the kingdoms, to serve the LORD.

Psalm 138:4,5

Psalm 138:4-5 All the kings of the earth shall praise thee, O LORD, when they hear the words of thy mouth. {5} Yea, they shall sing in the ways of the LORD: for great is the glory of the LORD.
