Radical Christianity: Conservative or Liberal? | [Contents] || [Feedback] || [V&FT] |
Left Wingers Read Here | Right Wingers Read Here |
If youre a left-winger youll find a lot of interesting things here, including clear Biblical arguments that the Old Testament does not command Christians in our day to execute capital criminals. Youve never read these arguments anywhere else, and they appeal to those who believe the Bible is the inerrant World of God. The author of this page is a six-day creationist. | If youre a right winger youll find a lot of interesting things here, including a radical self-conscious defense of Patriarchy against the whining of feminists and the socialism of one-worlders. These arguments come from one who is a radical Christian Reconstructionist, or Theonomist, a Five-point Calvinist and a six-day creationist. This page is the most formidable opponent of the New World Order that youll ever see. |

If youre a liberal, I assume youre
already opposed to capital punishment and are looking for ways to convince your
Fundamentalist neighbor to oppose it too. This page should help you in that endeavor. Im really not all that familiar with the mind of leftists. If youre a flaming liberal I hope youll email me with your comments. Kevin4VFT@aol.com It seems to me that most liberals dont trust wealthy people to do good things and want the State to take their money and use it for social action projects. I think people in America are exceedingly materialistic, but I dont believe in having the State put a gun to their heads and redistribute their wealth. On the other hand, liberals seem to be fairly idealistic about the poor and about criminals. Too many liberals Ive known oppose tough love. They dont even want a poster of the Ten Commandments posted in public school classrooms, which I hardly consider very tough. Ive met many criminals over the years, including at least one who is now on Death Row. If it werent for the Bible, I would probably favor capital punishment. At one time I did. Would you want a serial killer for a next-door neighbor? You should know that Fundamentalists consider liberals to be defenders of evil and opponents of good. If you are a religious liberal, they believe you make up your own religion as you go along, untethered and unrespectful of Gods Word in the Bible. This website will help you present your argument in terms that can be understood by Fundamentalists. And I secretly hope to convert you to a Fundamentalist just like me. |
If youre familiar with Vine & Fig Tree, you know our
goal is to eliminate the State. There is no Biblical justification
for the formation of Civil Government. The Bible shows that the origin of the
State is demonic and rebellious. The State is responsible for more evil than any other
institution. Private criminals account for the deaths of thousands; the State has murdered hundreds of millions.
All of the private criminals in the world combined have not done the damage that just one
of the 10 largest governments have done. This destructive power is called the sword. It justifies itself largely by appealing to our fear. It also justifies itself by a perverse sense of justice. It says when one man kills another, the killer must also be killed. There is no logic here. Consider:
Executions do not make us feel safer. If we lived in a pagan or fascist state, and there were ten executions everyday, would you feel safe? You would feel like the world was a crazy place. And yet executions are the taproot of the State. Capital Punishment is the final, bedrock justification for having a State. If there is no justification for Capital Punishment, there is no justification for a State. And so I write to question Capital Punishment. |
