THESIS 52: KINGSHIP, CITIZENSHIP, AND THE GOSPEL

The Gospel of the Kingdom[198] is the "good news" of the advent of the Messiah ("Anointed King"[199]) foretold by the Old Testament Prophets; the Son of God has come and we will be mercifully blessed by this King if we repent and submit to Him.[200] He promises to dwell with the one who obeys His Word[201] and yet this very power to obey is itself a gift from the King.[202]
