Demonic Delusion vs. Angelic SynapsesOur whole purpose as human beings is simply to bring glory to God. That's what we were created for.[1] Now here's the most important paragraph in this paper:If you are not dedicated to bringing glory to God, if you have not decided that your entire life - your business, your friendships, your possessions, your family; your strength, your mind, your heart, your soul - everything - is to be dedicated wholly to God and His Kingdom, you are in trouble. BIG trouble. Why? Well, "the angels are watching over you." There's no escaping that. The question is, WHICH angels? If you are a selfish, unproductive statist wuss like King Ahab, the Lord will send the evil angels to "watch over" you. What is the purpose of evil angels? Ahab learned the answer in II Chron 18:19: "that he may fall." You don't believe it? CAREFUL!
You must believe. You must not fear. Now hang with me here. This isn't a threat. This is a lot easier to handle if you're familiar with the Vine & Fig Tree promises. If you've never really heard about the wonderful purposes of God, and you think of Him as a harsh taskmaster, you will be frightened by the concept of Total Predestination. Maybe you should take a look at Micah's Vine & Fig Tree prophecy and see what kind of God the Bible talks about. We have called it The Christmas Conspiracy Here is a summary. After that, get an idea of the kind of human being God wants you to become. When we confess that God is God and we are not, we take the first step toward developing the character of Christ, and becoming a son of Abraham. We have created another website where you will see that God's Law maps out steps we can take to become truly human. We can know joy and fulfillment in service to God and others. You know what is right. If you read the psalm-meditations that are available on this site, you will see the kind of person you were created to be, and I know you will feel an empathy with them. If you become like a child, like a horse willing to go where the Rider commands, you will find that your desire is to become more like Christ, and to see other human beings become more like Christ, more like what they were created to be. You don't believe in dominating and exercising power over others. You are a servant. Acts of self-sacrifice and courtesy. Little things everywhere. If you've read through those character traits and are at all sympathetic, then you simply need to go with the flow. Don't get hung up on "am I elect?" etc., etc. God is not perverse. Jesus Christ tells us who God is like, because He obeyed God's Law perfectly, and God's Law comes from the heart of God. It's all very simple. In the Bible, the people who are sharply criticized by Jesus and the Prophets are not humble people who want to please the Lord and see Him praised; they are people who think that their presiding over religion and ritual and their production of scholarly and erudite dissertations elevates them above their fellow men. They construct great temples and demand "submission." They put on airs, but deep down they are fearful; they are pessimists because they substitute religion for Blessing. They substitute fakery for Obedience. They are missing the whole point of the Bible.
Which person are you? As you think about it, you're not a religionist, are you! You really don't like their religious and intellectual hocus-pocus, and it's not your personality to threaten and intimidate people. Oh, sure, there have been times when you have buckled under their pressure, claimed membership in their circles, and defended religion and one-upmanship at the expense of good things and good people. But those moments of weakness are the "old man" (Romans 6:6; Ephesians. 4:22; Colossians. 3:9). They don't tell me who you really are. Your Daily Meditations do. Get the ideas and rituals of the religionists out of your head and let God use you! For the religionist - whether Baalist or "christian" - the choice is clear:
or, possibly
But basically,
Why should I be a jerk and hate God? Why should I fill my mind with demons when I can have my mind filled with the Spirit-Cloud of ministering angels? "Free will"? I know what I'm going to choose. Absolute Personalism . . . Total Predestination.Continue reading:
The prooftext from Deuteronomy 29 is instructive:
"Debating" predestination is not an option for the Christian. It is an obvious and inescapable fact. To believe in "God" is to believe in a sovereign Creator, Who alone has the free will to bring the creation into existence. Our purpose is not to wrangle with the philosophers over "the secret things" of God, but simply to "do all the words of this law." The rest of this web site is devoted to that task. Find out how you can "use" Total Predestination to develop Godly Character and become a son of Abraham. First Realization: God Predestined Me to Possess a Computer-Like Mind NOTES[1] And if you don't like the doctrine of predestination, you'll have to tell me you chose to be created. I'm not persuaded. No, you were put here for a purpose. |
