I do not limit my learning to those things the State says I
should learn. I follow the curriculum of the Creator of the Universe. I do not substitute "infotainment" for first-hand knowledge of the creation and I will not accept the canned factoids of network "docudramas" for solid accounts by eye-witnesses of history. I question the authority and decrees of all rival lords and false gods. I keep myself apprised of their strategies and lies. I know that my education does not depend on teachers, but on my own hunger for truth and thirst for knowledge. Because I am a student of God's Commandments, I know that education is not a "trivial pursuit" of unconnected facts, but a holistic picture of the world as seen through the wisdom and moral absolutes of its Creator. |
