you have put off the old man
with his deeds, and have put on the new man who is
renewed in knowledge according to the image of Him who created him, Colossians 3:9-10 "Look to Abraham your
father, And to Sarah who bore you; For I called him alone, And blessed him and increased
him." |
I am a new man in Christ

But you have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the
living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, to an innumerable company of angels, Hebrews 12:22 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, there is a new creation; old
things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. |
Jesus has brought us to the New Jerusalem, the New Heavens
and the New Earth. Through me He is making all things new. I am therefore not limited to
the past. I am continually replacing the old with the new. Every day I imagine new ways to organize, to beautify, to succeed, to be hospitable, to motivate, to be courteous. Every day I find new ways to apply God's Law. I treat all problems and residual habits of the old man as opportunities to be creative. I exercise Spiritual imagination and as a result my life is vastly enriched. I find creative ways to exercise dominion and serve others, and thus enjoy a position of growing leadership. I start every job by thinking how to do it better than I have done it before. Being open to newness, I always find a way to improve my work. I watch others work, and when I see them fail, I understand their failures and create ways to eliminate these mistakes and succeed. I share my creativity with others. A constant stream of new and good ideas flows out of me like a river. Like a great chef, I continually find new ways to combine ingredients which tantalize and satisfy. I am becoming more and more imaginative. Since I am dominion-oriented, not consumption-minded, I do not focus only on the tangible results of creativity, but on the logic, the laws, the patterns, the surprise, and the intangible connectedness of life. My spirit reverberates with insight. I have a natural affinity with discovery.
My right-standing with God helps me see the personal outworkings of the Creator in all of life. New methods of dominion come to me by way of joyous analogy. My creativity is a gift from God, and I freely share my ideas and prosperity with others. These words resonate in my being; I study God's Law to learn more about them:

just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the
world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, having predestined us
to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will,
-- Ephesians 1:4-5 O how love I thy law! it is my meditation all the day. -- Psalm 119:97 |
