God has made me a steward over my environment, entrusting me with relationships and tasks. Each of these relationships and tasks are opportunities to serve God and others, and bring glory to God. I maintain constant vigil to prevent any of these opportunities from escaping. | ||
| Mark 14:38 Watch ye and pray, lest ye enter into temptation. The spirit truly is ready, but the flesh is weak. |
The disciples did not believe the promises of the Prophets. They sought to bring in Christ's Kingdom with the sword. I am on guard against the temptation to resort to carnal warfare, knowing that the Spirit is ready to vanquish the foes of Christ, where the flesh cannot. I am developing the habit of responding in the power of the Spirit to attacks on the Kingdom. | ||

Because Christ has been enthroned, and angelic guardians no
longer dominate human affairs, I assume the role of vice-gerent -- priest and king under
Christ. I am active in restoring the image of God in others. I show the worth of a person by giving undivided attention to his words and emotions. |
