Making Amends

Where we are:

• We have placed our will and our lives in the care of a sovereign God.
• We have made a searching and fearless moral inventory of our lives. We have uncovered the damage done to others by our desire to "be as gods." (Genesis 3:5)
• We now must right our wrongs.

What to do:

1. List those whom you have offended.
2. List your offenses in order of importance.
3. Examine yourself and become spiritually prepared.
4. Carefully choose the right wording.
5. Carefully choose the right time and method.

If you have already completed a "searching and fearless moral inventory," you already have a list of names. This is a process which will continue throughout your new life, so you will always be adding names to your list (and crossing them off).
